// Background
In 2019, Cathay Pacific embarked on a project to transition their aircraft’s external damage reporting from hardcopy to digital. Initially, they spent three years attempting to implement another digital solution, but it did not yield the expected results. After further research, they discovered Dent & Buckle and initiated contact in late 2022. They quickly realized that our solution met at least 90% of their requirements, leading to a productive collaboration and a long-term partnership contract signed by the end of 2023.
// Services
The key to the successful implementation of Dent & Buckle for Cathay Pacific was delivering custom-made integrations with their Ultramain electronic tech log (eTL), Ultramain MRO system, and FlyDocs document management system. Additionally, Dent & Buckle provided integration with their SSO.
// Impact
Today, Cathay Pacific manages over 190 aircraft within their group using Dent & Buckle solutions and remains our largest customer to date. We have completely transformed their defect reporting system, so it now happens seamlessly at the point of raising a new electronic tech log entry.
